Part-Time Helper Singapore
Flexible, hourly household help — cleaning, tidying and general housework — without committing to a full-time live-in helper.
When a part-time helper makes sense
Not every household needs a full-time, live-in domestic helper. If what you actually need is a clean, well-run home on a set schedule — without someone living in and taking on cooking, childcare or eldercare — a part-time helper usually covers the actual gap without paying for capacity you won't use. This is delivered through our in-house Home Specialist team, the same part-time household support service referenced across our site — not a separate, unrelated offering.
- You need fewer than roughly 16 hours of help per week — below this threshold, part-time help is generally more cost-effective than a full-time helper's total cost.
- You mainly need cleaning, not caregiving — if childcare, eldercare or cooking aren't part of what you need, a part-time helper covers the gap directly.
- You value privacy — no one living in your home full-time, which suits smaller households or those who prefer their own space.
- Your needs are irregular — pre-event cleanups, or coverage only on specific days.
Our part-time helpers are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents — not Work Permit holders. That means no MOM work-pass eligibility rules to navigate, and more flexible scheduling than a live-in arrangement allows.
What's included in a session
Every session covers three areas of the home, room by room. Please have basic cleaning supplies and equipment on hand — vacuum, mop, cloths and detergent — the same as you would for a full-time helper; your part-time helper handles the rest.
- Bedroom, living room & common areas — dusting furniture and surfaces, vacuuming and wiping sofas, sweeping/vacuuming/mopping floors, wiping cabinets and shelves, bed-making.
- Kitchen — washing dishes and cutlery, wiping counters and stovetop exterior, vacuuming and mopping the floor, emptying and wiping sinks.
- Bathroom — scrubbing toilets, showers and sinks, wiping mirrors and glass, mopping and scrubbing floors, emptying waste bins.
Transparent pricing
One straightforward hourly rate — no hidden surcharges.
All rates include a licensed, vetted helper — no unlicensed middlemen. Bring your own basic cleaning supplies and equipment; no hidden surcharges. Payment is made after each session via PayNow or bank transfer; first-time bookings require a S$50 deposit, credited against your first session. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule — a S$20 fee applies with shorter notice. If we cancel or your helper doesn't show, you get a full refund, no questions asked.

Licensed, vetted, and accountable
As a licensed employment agency, every part-time helper we place is vetted before she's ever shortlisted to a household. That's a meaningful difference from informal arrangements found on classifieds or social media groups, which often come without insurance, background verification, or any recourse if something goes wrong.
How booking works
- 1. Tell us what you need — property size, frequency, and the type of help (one-off cleaning or ongoing recurring support).
- 2. We match you with a vetted helper — based on your schedule and household requirements.
- 3. Confirm your first session — with a clear, itemised quote upfront, no surprises.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a part-time helper cost in Singapore?
Rates run S$26–S$32 per hour, with a 3-hour minimum session.
What's included in a part-time helper session?
Every session covers the bedroom, living room and common areas (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sofa care), the kitchen (dishes, counters, stovetop, sink), and the bathroom (toilet, shower, sink, mirrors, floors). Please have basic cleaning supplies and equipment on hand — vacuum, mop, cloths and detergent — the same as you would for a full-time helper.
How is this different from hiring a full-time live-in helper?
A part-time helper is booked by the hour or session and isn't part of your household day-to-day, while a full-time helper is usually live-in and takes on broader responsibilities like cooking, childcare or eldercare. Part-time generally suits households needing under roughly 16 hours of help a week.
Are your part-time helpers insured and background-checked?
Yes. As a licensed employment agency, every part-time helper we place is vetted before being shortlisted — unlike informal arrangements found on classifieds, which often come without insurance or verification.
Can I book a recurring weekly schedule?
Yes — you can book weekly or fortnightly for ongoing help at the same hourly rate.
How and when do I pay for a part-time helper session?
Payment is made after each session via PayNow or bank transfer. For a first-time booking, we ask for a S$50 deposit to confirm your slot — this is credited against your first session, not an extra charge.
What's your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session, so we can rearrange your helper's schedule. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice incur a S$20 fee. If your helper cancels or doesn't show up, you get a full refund — including your deposit, if one was paid — no fee, no hassle.
Are your part-time helpers foreign domestic workers on a Work Permit?
No. Our part-time helpers are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, not Work Permit holders. This means there are no MOM work-pass eligibility rules to navigate, and scheduling is more flexible than a live-in arrangement allows.
